To whom it may concern
I'm keen on doing the race. I did the the Cape - St.Helena race recently to establish if would be into sailing offshore for extended periods.
I was absolutely fond of it and would like to do the ultimate South African classic namely the Cape to Rio.
Below please find a concise sailing resume. For reference kindly contact Herbert Karolius (0833020224) and Craig Middleton (0828047460).
They are the skippers that I regularly sail with.

Dear all,

my name is Erol Gerceker and as a 29 y/o old civil engineer from Munich (Germany) and passionate bluewater sailor I’d like to compete together with you the 2020 edition of the Cape 2 Rio. On top of the above-named experiences, you also will benefit from my technical skills (as an engineer) and my good knowledge in the “offshore haute cuisine” ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Erol

My self and my girlfriend are extremely excited to try participate in the Cape to Rio yacht race in 2020. We both have a sea scout background where we sailed. I did sail a small dingy in the US when I was in school. We are both willing to work abord the boat although my girlfriend skills may be better used for helping clean and cook on board. I'm not exactly sure what it would cost for our share aboard, but we do want to contribute our share.
